So work rang at 5 and asked me to come in, night was dead quiet and dead, chatted with some awesome dudes, but more excitingly, when we finished, Caesar went home and me and AW stayed for two hours cleaning the taps and recollecting pilled up moments.

Then I missed my bus.

And I walked home for an hour.

However all was fixed by the fact we brought a large amount of wine with us, now I am extremely drunk, happy and hopefully after that walk, somewhat healthy.


On my last bit home I listened to the Supernatural Fangirl Experience which I've been meaning to do for ages and seriously, HOW AWESOME IS IT?

I'm excited, however I really feel like the damn thing has just snuck up on me out of the blue!

I really enjoy the odd documentary, and couldn't help downloading Confessions Of A Superhero a few days ago. It didn't exactly strike me as gripping, but really just some good background noise.

I was pretty wrong about that.



The documentary itself follows four struggling actors working as characters on the Hollywood Boulevard whilst trying to make it themselves. Its actually one of the most heartbreaking things to watch, it literally shows why so many have nicknamed it the Boulevard Of Broken Dreams.

Wonder Woman was a mid western cheerleader, who won homecoming queen and was the perfect small town girl before she got on a plane to L.A. to chase her dreams. The Hulk sold his nintendo for a bus ticket to L.A, and when he arrived during the Rodney King riots, fled to the hills. Batman, originally a George Clooney look-a-like, shares more with his costumed character in terms of a shady past and some violent dealings.

Superman is quirky, but how many of his quirks are his own I'm not too sure, his life revolves around the tights possibly as much as Clark Kents do. Its actually pretty scary, he has over a million dollars worth of merchandise in a tiny two bedroom flat, he lives and breathes the legend, its just sad because somewhere along the way he's lost himself.

They spend their days walking the streets posing with tourists for tips that range from a shake of the head to $100 bill, but it was really the music, photography and directing that really brought the whole thing together.



However, the ultimate moment really had to be when 'Bruce Wayne' walked into a therapy office and announced he had 'issues'. Like we didn't all know that!

Currently life is good, and amazingly super things include but are not limited to:

♥ Two days until Steve Carlson with fewdaysdown, velvetjinx and theoret
♥ Also, two days until new Supernatural, although technically it is only one for all of you in the U.S, its one of England's many flaws.
♥ A week until Asylum. Actually I'd like to complain about the sneaky-uppiness of this event. Seriously, one minute its months off and the next its tapping on my doorstep telling me to hurry up and pack my suitcase
♥ I have a video camera, well not technically have, I'm being lent one, but that means filming at Carlson and at Asylum which is going to be super cool.
♥ This weeks Gossip Girl, although I'd like to see those rumoured story lines come into play very soon.
♥ My job. No really, it is pretty sweet.
♥ So sweet, that I in fact, get paid weekly. Now there is something I'm not about to complain about.
♥ Vaguely Live Radio is my latest obsession, they are fucking hilarious.
♥ I have codes for 20% off at Oasis and Faith. That and payday, mean its definitely time to shop!
♥ Also, just to reiterate, Chuck Bass has cheekbones o'doom, and I want his babies. *nomnomnom*

I ♥ my job. But I don't ♥ getting in at 3am after it, and walking home from Chiswick EPIC JOURNEY.

On the plus side, my leg muscles will soon be AMAZING. And I won't need to diet ever again. I swear I've not done this much exercise since I was ten, or maybe never.

Dude I got a free lipfinity lipgloss in Superdrug today and it made me think of timfinity, the alternative Tim Drake history community. I am just that cool. I also got the coolest, possibly weirdest shoes ever, from the wedding section of Oxfam.

I managed to get 6 1/2 hours straight up work done today, I feel fucking good about it. I'm setting myself unachievable goals at the moment, e.g. half a years work by Saturday afternoon, and then I'll let myself go to Liverpool St. and the Jumblist Massive on Sunday. Apparently my dedication to watch Smallville Episode 5x12 has no limits. Despite the fact, after nearly six hours, I could not find an English download, I managed to solve my problem.

With a thing called a script and a French dubbed version.

I don't think it was as sad as it was meant to be, I just found it to funny.

Clark sounded like a woman.

Guess the whole epic musical montage at the end was still intact.

Still, I missed Drunk!Lex. Or English!Drunk!Lex, french one sounded like he needed to blow his nose. And spoke about a minute out of time. Maybe he had magical drunk powers.

Its not that I dislike alternative-reality episodes, i mean, hey, come on, every series has one. But they just hit the cringe factor more than anything. I mean surely these people know what an alternative-reality is, there has been some form on it on every popular TV show in like the last 20 years, heck there is even a wikipedia article on them.

Now say you woke up in parallel universe, what would you do?

Start shouting from the rooftops that stuff isn't right? Punch every other person? Kick kittens?

No, you idiot. Try to blend in.

Otherwise people thing your a mad as the march hare/going senile/completely stupid/have been abducted and replaced by an alien counterpart and are therefore going to lock you up and run crazy lab tests on you.

Basically, I just wish these fictional people, on fictional TV shows should get a clue.

E.T.A: And if you run off somewhere alone, bump into people you used to know, the chances they still know you/you've ever even met/they don't want to blow your head off with a shotgun are pretty darn low.

When I watch T.V, even if I'm on my own, I tend to keep this running commentary not even in my head, but right out loud. Seriously blind people should watch T.V. with me, I'd betcha my descriptions are a hella lot better than that sky-thingy-bob.

I also have what I would call a cringe-radar. Like if the characters (even ones I hate and would condemn to the vegetable chopping board/cauldron of bubbling doom) do something remotely cringeworthy and don't IMMEDIATELY stop and look around in immense Shame And Horror, I have to pause the T.V, turn away or run out the room and be embarrassed for them.


E.T.A. When I have an chance-at-romance/life changing/summary-of-previous-episode discussion with someone, fireworks and shooting stars don't appear dazzling my sky, and birds don't sing. Hell I don't even get a snazzy orange sunset. I've come to conclude the movies are misleading.

You know when your reading that freakin' epic all-on-one-page fic? Does it ever feel like your fighting a loosing battle?
